Child being suffocated by pillows.

So yesterday I was at Wal-Mart, (seems like any time I see something stupid it is at that place… wonder why) I’m standing on line waiting to pay for my goods, and I see this woman pull up on the line next to me, with what appeared to be a cart full of pillows. I thought to myself, “Maybe she likes pillows, who am I to judge.” About 5 min into the wait, I notice that the pillows in the cart were moving, yet no one that I could see was touching them. Then from behind the pillows emerged a young child gasping for air. That’s when I quickly snapped a picture with my trusty blackberry. Shortly after I snapped the picture, the father and son arrived, they were a Hasidic Jewish Family, and then suddenly everything made sense.

AfroSamurai is a 5 part animated miniseries that aired on SpikeTV In early 2007.  I had never heard of this show until the release of the video game this year.  Even then i did not think much of it, but something told me to add it to my gamefly game list.  A few months back i finally received it.  I held on to it for a little over a month playing through its colorful and imaginative levels.  I still have not watched the episodes, but i am now more interested in them then ever.  The main character “Afro Samurai” and his sidekick are voiced by none other then Samuel L. So I’m standing here in walmart and all I see is Michael Jackson all over magazines.  What is wrong with America?  2 weeks ago no one cared if he was alive now that he’s “dead” it is such a “tragedy!”  The media will try to find any cash cow to try to get all the human cattle to watch and buy.  I for one am very skeptical of Michael Jacksons “death.”  Think about this for a minute, over the last 10 years what was the best thing he has done for his career?…..  He “died.”. I just find it convenient that his career is over, he’s a laughing stock of the industry, he is selling off all his assets to fight off the massive mounting legal fees, and he conveniently dies.  Over night he has gone from a gross plasticman pedophile, to “The King of Pop.” It really is quite amazing, I for one believe that this is all a publicity stunt to attempt to resurrect his career, and so far he has been successful. His dvd and cd sales must be through the roof, they are playing him non stop on the radio, and the rights to air his funeral on tv must be worth billions. The royalties from this stunt must be massive. I just hope that when he comes back from the “dead” that Americans become furious with him, and we make him wish he was in fact dead.  Michael  Jackson, Fuck you.  Fuck you and the child you rode in on. If you are dead, then good ridden. Any thing you have done in the past does not make up for the fucked up shit you did. Guilty or not your a sick sick man, and I for one are glad that you are gone, even if only for a little while.

So as many of my friends know, I have been using the stumbleupon addon to find new and interesting sites.  It is probably one of the greatest addons that I have seen for IE/FireFox, in a long time.  Basically you download this tool bar (optional and configurable), configure your account with categories you would like to see, (ei: Comics, Computers, Linux, Comedy)  i keep meaning on posting great links i find with this tool, but i continue to forget.  So while im here late at work, i will post whatever links i stumble below, so you can get an idea of the awesome.  I wont lie, sometimes you find junk, but most of the time you find something entertaining.  I have spent a few nights up late telling myself just one more stumble for hours.

So the other day I got to thinking, Why is leather so expensive?  Why is leather considered a luxury item?  The more i thought about this, the more confused i got.  As i sat there eating my hamburger in Cheeseburger in Paradise, i wondered,  how is it possible that Americans consume so much beef, yet we are still stupid enough to pay extra for leather seats.  Hell i ate that cow the seats should be free.  Ill tell you this much… ill get down to the bottom of this puzzle.

Ever since i can remember I’ve loved video games. From my early days, of playing the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) to now, i have always had a passion of obtaining whatever goal that was set forth in front of me, on that wonderful glowing box called a TV. I remember Spending hours and hours trying to defeat the forces of bowser, trying to get the high score in Mortal Kombat, and saving hyrule from the evil Gannon. At that time, the most exciting games to play were the arcade machines. Although they are growing more and more of a rarity in this day and age, arcade machines, and more specifically arcades themselves brought an experience unlike any other. There was nothing like Digging through your couch cushions searching wildly for the one thing that made those wonderful machines alive, The Quarter. Armed with a pocket full of quarters, children would flock to arcades like birds flying south for winter. As a young child, i rarely had extra money to play arcade machines, which made them that much more special to me. As i get older now, the passion i once had for gaming is still there, but the ability to play is gone. Too many real life projects now get in the way. One of the many reality’s of being an adult. I remember wishing so much that i was older, now i look back, and wish i still had that care free life. As i grew up, I became very involved in the computer world.

My first exposure to Resident Evil 5, was the demo available on psn.  After playing this demo, i thought this game was horrible.  The demo was extremely hard, and within 10 min of playing i was stuck dying over and over again.   I quickly uninstalled the demo, and said, guess im not playing that game again.   The Resident Evil series has always intrigued me, but i always found it too difficult to play, and i usually walked away from it before really getting any where.   Somehow RE5 ended up in my gamefly list, and before i realized it i had a copy sitting at my house.  So i figured i would try out the game one more time.  Now its always been my usual tenancy to play the games on medium, because playing on easy was always too easy.    I played about 10 min into the game, and was stuck in the same spot.  I threw the game to the side and said i was gonna play something else.  But something was nagging me to try it again, so this time i put it on easy….
