Cybernations is an online browser based nation simulation game. You control all aspects of your nation, from Government type, National Religion, ECT. You build up armies, make trade agreements with nations, and attack others. All while keeping your nations population happy. The interesting thing about this game, is how certian military actions, can effect the whole planet, and not just the nation you are attacking. If you have some free time check it out. It is not a very time consuming game like some other games out there.
CONCEPT:
While I was in California we stopped in a place that served peanut butter bacon cheeseburgers. Ever since then I have wanted to make them at home. This is the first recipe I am posting. It is not a perfect recipe, as many of mine are not. At the bottom I will write my lessons learned from this recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Frozen Hamburger patties
2 Slices Cheddar Cheese
1 Hamburger Bun
Creamy Peanut Butter
DIRECTIONS:
Cook Both Burger Patties. I fried mine, but you could grill them as well. Place the cheddar cheese on top of one of the patties while cooking it. Place one patty on the bun, put a spoonful of peanut butter down, and then place the other patty on top of the peanut butter. Then Eat.
LESSONS LEARNED:
1. Peanut butter melts when it is hot (this I knew), I placed too much PB in between the patties, and this caused them to slide apart when I was trying to eat it, making the whole process much more difficult and messy. In the future I will try a thinner layer of PB on the top and bottom of the bun to see if this will be less messy.
2. I have the idea of putting the pb into the patty. This will require me to make the Hamburgers from scratch instead of using the frozen Store bought ones. I believe this will add an interesting flavor thought out the entire burger, without the need for the mess mentioned above.
3. I would like to add the bacon back, and possibly the lettuce. If i go with option 2 i might go down this path as well.
Desktop Tower Defense is one of those great flash based internet games, where you start playing for a few min, and hours later your still having fun. Its a very simple concept game. all you have to do is stop the “armies” from reaching the other side of the board. You get a plethora of weapons to choose from. You build these different types of “turrets” to Kill the invading armies.
A few hints i have so far for this are as follows.
1: Build your turrets in a maze. The armies can not walk through them, use this to your advantage. Blockoff paths, and channel them to where you want them to go. Make them pass the same turrets as many times as possible. The only thing you cant do is trap them.
2: Upgrade your towers every chance you get. For a minor fee you can double, triple, and then some, your turrets damage, and range. Making it a much more fierce fighting force. As the levels move on the enemies will have more HP(Health Points) and an upgraded tower will not be able to cause enough damage to them.
3: Find a happy medium between the 2 above posted Hints.
Game is posted after the break.
Have Fun!
It has been nearly 20 years since the last Ghostbusters movie came out. I still get super excited when i watch those movies. About a year ago, i had heard they were planning on making a third Ghostbusters movie. Apparently because of the age of everyone, they decided to make it an animated feature length film. I was Skeptical, But excited. Then one Day In early Jan of 2007 this leaked video footage appeared on the Internet. It was a demo video of a unlicensed Ghostbusters game released by a company called zootfly. The Internet buzz about this was insane. So many people were super exited about this game, only to find out that zootfly had no rights to make this game, and that this game would not come out. Many people upset about this started online petitions in an attempt to get enough support to have this game actually made.
Here is the Video Made by Zoot Fly:
Little did we know that Sony, The official license holders of the Ghostbusters had already sent the Green Light On a Ghostbusters Video game, Instead of making the Ghostbusters movie i mentioned above, and at the time this zootfly video came out, they were well on there way to a finished product. They have been showing screen shots, and videos for a while now on the new game. Today at E3(the gaming convention) they showed this new video:
Needless to say I’m still super excited for this game to come out.
One of this years most highly anticipated movies for me is the new Batman Titled The Dark Knight. While browsing around the internet, i have located this really cool International trailer which shows a few pieces of very important details. In a way im a little disappointed, because i would have rather seen these things in the theater. But like any crazy movie fan. i had to watch this trailer, and now im super exicted for batman 3

The bucket list is a movie about 2 older men, terminally diagnosed with cancer. They both have been given 6 months to live. Together they decided to fulfill their Bucket List. A list of things you want to do before you kick the bucket. This got me thinking. What do i want to accomplish before i die. And i truly don’t have an answer for it. I guess there’s a few things that i would like to do, but I’m finding it hard to make a list of things i would actually want to do before i die. So here we go. The Bucket List 2008
1. Go over seas maybe tour Europe.
2. Do a cross country drive across the USA.
3. Go Sky Diving
4. Be a crazy old Grandpa.
5. Live Comfortably
6. Feel that i lived a full life.
7. Bring Joy and happiness to all my loved ones.
8. Let Rob Win one game night.
9. Write a Book
10.
That’s all i can think of right now.
Hopefully more will come to me as the years move on.
